Terkadang bahasa melintas

penuh makna dan aku mengerti

buat aku tersenyum

sejak kecil

nun di Siantar aku sekolah

aku belajar

aku membaur

terbayang

dalam renungan jauh di dermaga

pagi hari kota Hongkong

gadis-gadis kecil jajakan ular

untuk direbus santapan malam

kebisingan kota

berbaur kebisingan keributan

So meaningfiil and I comprehend

make me smile

as part of them

since my childhood

Daydreaming

in deep memory far at the pier
