anak ke sembilan menangis

membahana se irama

adzan magrib

anak ke delapan

minta makan

terlupakan oleh orok baru

haus

dahaga

air susu ibu

The old man bent down

fixing the old lantern

‘To brighten the old hut

The ninth child cried

filling the air in harmony

with maghrib prayer call

The eighth child

asked for food

neglected by a new baby

thirsty

Dried up

from mommy’s breast feeding
